Vicki,
Here is what I was able to find on some Frederick Co MD. Derrs:
There were several Derr families that settled in Frederick Co. MD in the mid to late 1700s.Thanks to the work of various researchers much of this information has been published in Roy H. Wampler's book "The Derr Family 1750 - 1986 (Gateway Press, Inc. Baltimore 1987). and his Supplement of the same titlethat he published in 2003 in Chevy Chase, MD.
Mr. Wampler's book is primarily concerned with his own Derr family ancestor, Philip Derr of Middletown, Frederick Co. (1750 - 1821) and his ancestors and descendants.
Fortunately, however, he was kind enough to include an appendix in which he traces the origins and descendants of three other Derr families of FrederickCo.:
Sebastian Derr 1727 - 1802
John Martin Derr 1737 - 1812
Abraham Derr 1767 - 1829
In his supplement he adds one more:
George Michael Derr 1717 - 1800
Taking them in chronological order we have:

Ancestors and Children of John Derr (1760 - 1854) and his brother, Abraham Derr, (1767 - 1829) of Frederick Co. MD.:
Note: all these dates seem to be taken from the Parish Register of Gablenberg,

on15 Feb 1735.
Possibly the same as the George Dorr who arrived in Philadelphia
on the ship "Queen Elizabeth" 16 Sep 1738 , probably with his wife.
He seems to have resided first in Maccungie Township, Bucks Co., where he
witnessed the will of John Jarrett, of Maccungie, Bucks Co. dtd 22 Mar. 1752,
and proved 15 Dec.1755. On 6 Apr. 1760, Johannes Derr, son of George and
Anna Barbara Derr, was baptised, with Johannes Jarrett (Jr.) and his wife, Dorthea
as sponsors at Zionsville Lutheran church, Upper Milford Twp, Northampton,
now Lehigh, Co. PA.On 11 Mar. 1761, he bought 332 acs. located
in Upper Salford Twp. Philadelphia ( later Montgomery) Co. and was a
member of the Old Goshenhoppen Luthern Congregation, (where his son
Abraham , born on 11 May 1767),was christened),his will, dated

8. Abraham, B. 11 May 1767 - D. 11 May 1829. Fred. Co. MD.
The Family of John Derr (1760 - 1854):
In 1843, age 83, he applied fo a Revolutionary War Pension, stating that he was born 6 Apr. 1760 in Northampton Co. PA.;
lived from 1761 to 1786 in Philadelphia Co.; in 1786 he moved to York Co., PA.; moved to Balt. Co. MD in 1812: then
moved to Carroll, (then Frederick) Co. in 1826.

3. John Frederick Derr, B. 30 Dec. 1792, Emmanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York Co. PA

6, Salome, B. 7 Mar. 1801,St. David's.
7.Henry Derr, B. 27 Jul. 1803,Emmanuel Reformed church, Hanover, York Co. PA.
In1850 the Census of Carroll Co. MD, lists John Derr, age 90, born in PA as head of the household in Uniontown.
Others include Jacob Derr, born in PA., age 63; Elisabeth Derr, born in PA., age 55, and Catherine Derr, born in PA., age 53.
Since Jacob Derr was born ca 1787, it's probable that he was a son of John Derr, born about the time he moved to York Co.;
while Elisabeth and Catharine are obviously his daughters. The deed of a Sarah W. Derr in 1845 who sells a lot to a William
Roberts, states that it is for the use of Elisabeth Derr, Catherine Derr and Jacob Derr, all of Carroll Co.
After the death of John Derr in 1854, a George W. Derr was appointed administrator of his estate, and posted a bond of 600.00.
There appears to have been no administrative account submitted to the court, however.
The Family of Abraham Derr ( 1767 - 1829)
Abraham Derr was B.11 May 1767 and christened in the Old Goshenhoppen Lutheran church, Upper Salford Twp. Philadelphia,
later Montgomery, Co. PA.His sponsor (for whom he was probably named) was Abraham Tuerckis, along with Margaretha Wagner.
His wife was Elisabeth (1767-1822), the daughter of Ulrich Stuller/Stoller,(1726 -1814) and his wife, Elisabeth (nee Miller).Ulrich Stoller's
name appears on the passenger list of the ship "Phoenix" that arrived in Philadelphia 15 Sep. 1749.His gravestone at Baust's Reformed
church inTyrone,Carroll Co. MD states he was born in 1726, and he is very likely the Ulrich Stoller B. 30 Sep. 1726 Gsteigwiler, Bern,
Switzerland, son of an Ulrich Stoller B. 19 Jan 1700 - D. 23 Dec. 1741, Gsteigwiler, where the name seems to be widespread.
Abraham Derr seems to have lived in York Co. PA, where his children were baptised, up to around 1800.Between 1802 and
1815 he bought parcels of land totaling over 300 acs. around Uniontown, Frederick Co. MD. (Later Carroll Co.)He played an
active part in the Reformed congregation of Baust's church, where he is buried..He died on his birthday, 11 May 1829, and left no
