No, not much is known about mine.. besides his name, he died early in a accident at a brick yard around Lock Haven, pa. Having 3 daughters and one son. Unfortuneatly my grandfather was the oldest and only 10-12 and doesn't remember much. No one in my family up til now has tried to even do geneological research.. so I'm starting from scratch. Although the Dersham, Dersham name seems to be more common in pa then elsewhere..

My grandfather once told me a story about two brothers who came over from Germany that hated each other, and when they got here changed their names, one Taking the origional Dershem the other Changing to Dersham.. how much truth is in this is beyond me.
