There is another spelling also. It is Dashem. My gggrandfather was Jacob Dershem b. 1818 and his son, John, went by the name to Dashem. They both lived in Centre County. I found church records for Jacob in Farmer's Mills, Potter Twp., Pa. I have seen a will by Eve which I believe was Jacob's sister.

From what I can determine Jacob's parents were Jacob Dershem and Barbara Schmitt(Smith)but I can't tell if it's the Jacob Dershem from White Deer, Union County. If you have any informatioin on elder and younger Jacob Dershem I would really appreciate it.
