Louisa Imler Dershem's First Child, 1859, Ohio

My paternal grandfather, Samuel Alfred Miover/Myover, believed to be born on 24 December 1859 in Allen County, Ohio, was the first child of Louisa Imler, daughter of George Imler and Sarah Betts (Betz).

In January of 1861, Louisa married John Dershem and they had children who were half-brothers and half sisters to Samuel Alfred. "Alfred," as S. A. Miover was called by the family, was raised by John and Louisa Dershem on their farm in Allen County, OH. He left home after his 21st birthday, but he kept close contact with his Ohio family, often visiting them, until he died on 22 October 1915 in Shirley, Arkansas.

I have been searching for any information that anyone of Dershem descent may have, i.e. family bible records, newspaper records, church records, etc., that may help me to determine positively who was the natural father of my grandfather, Samuel Alfred Miover/Myover.

Any information will be much appreciated. Thank you.
