De Santis Info. to offer

My great grandmother was Rosalia De Santis from Palermo. Her father was Guiseppe De Santis and mother was Ignasia Massaro. They came to Brooklyn - Columbia Street. They arrived on Ellis Island on December 23, 1902. She was 14 years old. Two of her sisters migrated to Argentina.

She married Guiseppe Palazzolo. They had several children. Angelia, Anthony, Jospehine, John, Anna (living), and Salvatore (living).

Also, I am curious how the De Santis line - w/seems to be a Spanish name came to be in Italy - anyone?

Christine Miceli-Gonzalez
