Hello Pauline, I am not related, just trying to help you.
The name confusion is due to the use of "dit" names which are like "aka". They were sometimes used to identify one family line from another when the surname was common. Pamela was from the Roy-Desjardins family. Her husband was Achille Miville-Deschenes. I found that they had a daughter named Ernestine who married Auguste Lavoie 5 Oct 1885 St-Philippe,Kamouraska,Quebec. That was all I could find, but at least it gives you the place in Quebec that the family was from.
