Does spelling change Deschene to Deshane in 1800's?I have Joeseph Deshane/Joseph Marie Deschenes Born 1797. two mariges. One to Olive Defoe(Dafoe,Defoy)1826 Hastings Ont.,Can. The other in 1818 to Suzanne Vertefeuille in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec Can. Are they the same person? Or twins? Jean Bernard Miville Deschenes Could be his Father and Suzanne Verteeuille his Mother. Someone help me out. Thank You.
