You've got the same answer that I got. Haven't come
across his second marriage as of yet. I'm beginnig
to think that Joseph DeShane moved around alot.
I found the DeShane name mentioned in The Yorkshire
England area. I found that by process of elimination.
Going through the Dallas Library (genealogy) looking
through all the counties of England. I lost some
of my paperwork, but I think it had a Jame DeShane
born between 1720-1740, and a brother from Bonn,
Germany that Migrated to the thirteen colonies. I
found a James DeShane for Fredericksburg county,
Virginia 1620 with a ? behind it. Couldn't find any
marriages or land deeds. He could of been a sailor
or a stowaway. Who knows. So far your quest on the
DeShane family seems to be the best so far. Haven't been able to tie into Aaron DeShane 1702 who married a Shawnee
name Yah Mah Sha Ku. I think his first wifes name
was Elizabeth. So many DeShane's mentioned in the
Cherokee nation and Shawnee. Catch you later, Happy
New Year.
