I don't know about the Blaylocks, but Luraney was the sister (I think older) to William King Deshazo. Her father, Lewis was born in NC.He came to GA from Edgefield area of South Carolina about 1807. She is mentioned in her father, Lewis Deshazo's will of 1818 Eatonton, GA.Also, she is shown near Deshazo relatives (seem to be cousins) on the 1830 Twiggs Co., GA census with two sons.I don't know what happened to William King. She is listed as Luraney King. Many of the siblings of Luraney (including eventually Wm. K.) moved on to Barbour and Shelby Co. areas of Alabama.
I have more information on Lewis, his parents, and his siblings.I know that some Kings were also in Edgefield area of SC.A cousin of Lewis' Deshazo also married a Jane "Gincy" King in Person Co., NC.The Deshazo families were originally from VA.I would love to share info.Email me at [email protected].
