I don't see a connection there. I do have a second Charles but he was married to Elizabeth Chambers. He was born in 1859 and died in 1940. They had 3 sons: Edward b. 1885 d. 1965 Louisa b. 1890 d. 1930 and Roy b. 1893 d. 1977. Sorry I can't be of more help.
It might be possible that your Charles is a decendant of one of the other two sons that I don't have further information on. There names are Francis Assisi b. 1788 d. 1812 or Anthony b. 1793 d. ?
