Hi Philip. The first Renaud dit Deslauriers to settle in Fort Vincennes was:
Jean-Baptiste Renaud/Arnault/Renard, born in Boucherville 1708 10 01, baptised same day, son of Jean-Baptiste & M.-Anne Provost, married in Fort Vincennes 1750 10 26 to Thérèse Mallette. They had at least 8 children, all born in Indiana. One of them moved to Dakota territory around 1800. I have records up to 1789 which is the extent of the index I consulted. There are some Deslauriers in Illinois that I was unable to connect.
Sorry about Fred and Flora Boyer but I really don't have time to go to the library these days.
