Hi Nita, Since I posted the query on Amab, I went to the Allen County Genealogy Library in Fort Wayne, IN. It is a terrific genealogy library. I found the following census data. 1910 Illinois Census for St. Francisville Deloriea, John 25 " Sarah 23 " Silvos 3 " Charles 2 (my uncle) " Dorothy 1/12 Then: 1920 Illinois Census for St. Fr. Deloria, Amab 67 " Jane 60 " Sill 13 " Charles 11 " Dorothy 9 " Leonora 7 " Joseph 5 Obviously John and Sarah died and the grandparents are raising the children. My aunt remembered that Uncle Charles's grandfather was Amab. Then I found in the 1900 census that Amab was in St. Francisville as follows: Deloriea, Amab 46 " Jane 42 " John 16 " Mary 9 " Joseph 5 " Cora 3 Moving back to Vincennes, IN the following entries are in the 1860 Census for Knox Ct.: John Deloyer 48 Mary " 28 Josephine " 10 John " 8 Amab " 6 Lambert " 4 Frances " 1 Looking at other Deslauriers, I think this John and Mary might be Jean Deslaurier and Marie Callioux. He is the son of your Pierre Renaud dit Deslauriers and Theotiste Marie Ravalette. Is Callioux and Cabassier the same person? I have Marie Callioux's parents as Amable Callioux and Francoise Rassicot??????? We are getting there. Do you the the line from Pierre back to the original Jean Renaud? Anxioux to hear from you. Phil Bousley
