Nita, I couldn't find any rference to Vincennes in my history. The closest I come is Vercheres District. We started out in the Anson District, Loire Valley France. Is this where you start too? My branch of the family ended up in New Hampshire. Did you know that the family names translates into Fox of the Laurel Trees in english, this is where my name came from. I think it would be interesting to see if we had a connection and if I have any information that would be of interest to you feel free to ask.
