Legault dit Deslauriers and Deslauriers dit Legault are the same. Deslauviers does not exist: it is a misreading or a typo.
Other variations: Desloriers, Legaut/Legoth.
In the 17th to 19th centuries, Legault dit Deslauriers and the Legault or Deslauriers that relate to this family are concentrated in the Pointe-Claire, Lachine and Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue area on the island of Montreal; other concentrations occur in the Vaudreuil, Soulanges, Argenteuil and Deux-Montagnes counties and in the west part of Laval, north of Montreal.
