I would very much like to see the record for Peter DeSpain you mentioned in Revolutionary War.

I am a decendent of Benjamin F. DeSpain, the Texas Bridge Builder. His daughter, Julia Ann DeSpain married Jacob J. Nidever (he died at Corinth, Ms during Civil War). We think our Benjamin F. DeSpain and his wife Narcissa came into east Texas after the battle of the Alamo. Benjamin inherited land from a cousin Randolph DeSpain who died at Goliath at the hands of the Mexicans.

Many have stated our Benjamin F. DeSpain is a son of John DeSpain and wife C. Daniel, others have said he's a son of PETER DeSpain. We would like very much to find out which is the father of our Benjamin "F" DeSpain not to be confused with Benjamin Lynn DeSpain his relative.
