FLORA J. DESPER married JESSE COX in Gallatin Co., IL on November 29,1857. One of their children, MARY EMMA COX m. first to WILLIAM RODGERS, then to a SAULS, then to a SEAGRAVES. MARY EMMA COX RODGERS had 5 children with first husband, one of whom was my greatgrandmother, BERTHA RODGERS HARRELSON. I know nothing about the DESPER line and would appreciate any info. No DESPERS show up on the 1820 to 1850 Gallatin Co. censuses.
