Norma,I'm not a descendent of the Dessery family but do have a family connection; Mary Dessery, dau of Jacques & Jeanne Dessery, was the wife of my gr grandfather's brother, Victor Blinn. Here is what I have put together from Jeanne Dessery's obit.
They had 10 children; one dying in infancy.
1. Mary B. d. 8/3/1927 Tonganoxie, KS
m. Victor Blinn 6/1/1874 Tonganoxie, KS
Ch: Lulu May Blinn b. 10/5/1875 Tonganoxie d. 23/1/1956 Huntington Park, CA.
Clyde Dessary Blinn b. 3/8/1878
Gaylord,KS
2. H.L. lived in Salina, KS
3. John P. lived in Junction City, KS
4. Joseph F. lived in Tonganoxie, KS
5. Dora (Watson) lived in Kansas City, MO
6. Daughter (Mrs. E.H. Linton) lived Holton, KS?
7. A.B. lived in Los Angeles, CA
8. Victor lived in Los Angeles, CA
9. Daughter (Athenaisse?) Mrs. C. Mulloy of Kankakee, IL
Victor, Mary and Lulu Blinn are buried in Maple Grove Cem, south of Tonganoxie, KS.Obit said he had lived there for 24 yrs. coming there from WI.Victor Blinn was b. in Delaware Co., OH, one of 10 children of John and Caroline Thompson Blinn.Victor's obit was a full column in the paper.
Hope this is helpful. Can you fill in some of the names above where I have only initials??Do you know the other dau's(Mrs. E.H. Linton)given name?Would like to fill out my records.
