Hello Horst!
I finally got out the right boxes to show the book so do please send you line as maybe I can help...
This book is titled Dettwiler 1556-1958.
It begins with Jerg-George Dettwiler Born 1565 in Saget (Hausergruppe bei Rothrist, Kanton Aargau) Died 1624.
George came to Langenbruck in 1600 where he bought a place in Durrenberg. He married Anna Wullschlegel who was born 1567 and died 1622. Eleven children, 7 were sons.
I will keep this handy for anyone who wants look ups. It is my hope to some day get in scanned and posted where all the Dettwiler's can enjoy it.
I am willing to Xerox it if anyone finds an actual connection.
It speaks on one son an Isaak Dettwiler, Isaak's son is Niklaus Dettwiler, Niklaus's son is Hans Dettwiler, Han's son is Gilg Dettwiler, Gilg's son is Heinrich Dettwiler. Here it tells of two of Heinrich's sons. One being Han Jakob Dettwiler and the other Heinrich Dettwiler the II.
Han Jakob Dettwiler's son is Heinrich Dettwiler Born December 8, 1790 in Langenbruck, Switzerland... This is where the book begins to get more detailed.
Michelle
