Hi Pat, My G.G. grandfather was patrick Devan
b in Ireland, he lived in Monroe Pa. ,which was later names Hopwood, after his founder, who was an aid to Gen. Washington . my fathers name was Edward devanm his father was Oliver devan and olivers father was andrew B Devan, Andrew & oliver were blacksmith's in Dunbar , Pa.- my mothers maden name was Emma J.
