Thanks for the post. I thought I responded to this a few years back, but just started back on here again. Time goes by quickly. Was your uncle Earl married to Mildred Ruhl? Would your aunt know about that history of the adoption or how you would go about finding out information up there? We are in Florida. I found out that Barbara DeVan (Earl's adopted daughter) lived in Rogers and shows online she passed away in 2001. She was married last name was Depillo. Don't know if she had children or the adoption info was passed down to her or or children. Robert DeVan said his sister had the papers from his grandmother. Curiosity is killing my husband. Thanks for responding and I will be better about this.
