Information I have is a James DeVaun b. 1752 m. Sara(or possibly a Lydia)Children: Sarah B. 1783-5m. Daniel Morgan D. Fulton Co. Il.2.Walter 1840 M. Priscilla Reading D . Fulton Co. Il.3 James M. Polly Robertsonand 4. Johnno information.Record shows Sarah at Shenandoah Va. Walter M. at Licking Co. Ohio.James served in the Revolution at Battle Long Island, White Plains, Taking Hessians at Trenton, Princeton, Brandywine, Germantown, and taking Body Tories on Staten Island.Annapolis Records show First Md enlisted 12-10-1776,Discharge 12-27-1779Pension Licking County, OHioat Newark.Have another record is James Yarles Devaughn enlisted 1776 to Licking Co. 1819.Daughter Sarah m. Daniel Morgan son Walter m. Priscilla Reading 3. John4. Elizabeth m. Ephraim Brown.1790 census shows Sarah Devon Queen Ann Md.1800-10 census at Shenandoah Va.names were spelled DeVaughn, and Devon.Do not know if this information would be of any help to anyone.Would like to share and if there is more accurate family history available would appreciate having help from anyone,
