Hello there,

I have a Thomas Deverell in my family tree who was born c1824 in Mountmelick Ireland. He was a private soldier in the army and he married Margaret Tuite 21 August 1844 in Cathedral, Manchester Lancashire England.

So far I have found 3 of their children, a daughter Mary Jane Deverell who was born c1846 in Cork Ireland, a son Tarlton Deverell born 1850 and died in 1852 in Dover and another son James Tarlton Deverell chr 06 May 1859 in Manchester.

I do not know if this family is related to yours but the name "Tarlton" grabed my attention and I was wondering if the name Tarlton was a family name that was passed down.

I would be very interested to hear what your thoughts are

Kind regards
Wendy
