Hi there. You may have recieved this information earlier, but heres what I know.
Leland Standford Vannests father was Frank E Vannest from Ogden, Weber County, Utah His mother was my fathers aunt. Her name was Margaret Fagan, daughter of Thomas Fagan and Elizabeth Morris. His sister Winella, worked as an aid to the "Father" at the catholic church in Ogden. Health problems required her to move to St George Utah and a warmer climate. She was employed by the church doing the same work there. She is buried there also. Leland came to our home was I was in my youth. Winella came somewhat regularly.I hope this info will help or suppliment what you already have.
Regards,
Michael Sheridan 801-782-4432 cell (801-510-0385)
