HELP-Devers/Dever b.1815 PA wife Jane/PA-KY-IL-MO

Looking for Huston Devers' parents, brothers and sisters. Huston Devers was listed as H.B. Devers-35 born 1815 PA, in Fayette County, KY Census 1850, wife Jane 34 born VA, George W., 9 born KY, F.M. 7 born KY, John G. 6 born KY, Susan 5 born KY, and Mary 1 born KY.
The next listing is in 1860 Illinois Census, Edgar County, name is now listed as Houston B. Devers, 45 farmer, born PA, wife Jane 44 born VA, George W.18 born KY, Francis M.(son) 17 born KY, John G., 15 born KY, Mary F. 11 born ?, and Isabelle 5 born IL. It looks like one of the girls, Susan, died after 1851 and before 1860.
I found a story that says Huston Bentley Devers was killed during a dispute over his parents land shortly after the Civil War. It seems that a man(don't know the name of the man), helped Huston's parents while he and his brothers were fighting in the War. Huston's parents wanted to leave their farmland in Kentucky to this man when they died. Huston B. Devers agreed with this and one of his brothers (suppose to be 6 brothers) did not agree. During this disagreement, Huston was shot and killed by a nephew, Sam. A bit later, John Garrett Devers and his brothers were hauling a load of wood along in a wagon and came upon the uncle who was on horseback. They shoot him. They realized that his family and the law would soon be after them, therefore, they quickly packed up and left the area.

I am looking for the names and any other information on the BROTHERS and the Parents of Huston/Houston Bentley Devers. I am trying to verify the story, and find more information. Some of this Devers family went to Missouri after Illinois and some ended up in Texas.

Any help would be appreciated,
Eva Haven
