I have just started to research the Wilson and Deville family of Rapides and Avoyelles Parish.

My grt grandfather was Samuel Wilson (b. 1851) who married Rosalie Deville (b. 1852) about 1870.
His daughter Zora May (b. 1899) was my grandmother.

Samuel and Rosalie are buried in the New Hope Free Methodist Cemetery near Pineville.

Wilson, Rosalie Deville, wife of Sam Wilson - 18 Dec 1852/7 Nov 1891
Wilson, Sam - 15 Feb 1851/9 May 1926

Both Samuel (age 19) and Rosalie (age 18) can be found on
1870 Pineville Wd, Rapides Co., LA, Page 161 cenus.

Rosalie (age) was enumerated with Michael Deville (age 47) and Lucinda age (47)
Samuel can be found on the same page in a household with Eliza Wilson (age 67) who I think may be his mother ???

Can anyone help me with information on Samuel Wilson or Rosalie Deville ?
