Basile Deville born abt. 1868-1869 is listed as a mulatto. My believe that this is Basile Deville Jr., because Basile Deville Sr. appears on an 1858 Estate Auction Sale as a slave of Alexandre de Franc Deville.

St. Landry, July 3, 1858

Bazile, a negro-man aged about 20 years. If Bazile is 20 in 1858, that would make him born about 1838. That means he was about 30 years old when Basile Deville, born 1868-1869.
