In "The New Orleans French 1720-1733" by Winston DeVille, on page 544 we find:
21 JAN 1722, Old Biloxi - Certification of the marriage of Jean Katcebergue-native of Idelbert, Germany and Marie Christine - native of Vicelocq, Germany. Both are workers for the Royal Company of the Indies. I would like to think that this is the parents of Marie, wife of DeVille.

In "The First Familes of Louisiana" - Vol I by Glenn Conrad we find on page 214, Jean Katdinbergue listed as a mason working in Louisiana on December 9, 1721.

Thus, we have the Katzenberg in Louisiana by 1721.
