If you descend from the Talons, you will be interested in an archaeological story going on in south Texas right now. Check out The Dallas Morning News front page...Wed Nov 29 article entitled Bones found at Texas settlers fort. They are looking for the remains of Isabel Planteau Talon. The article explains why this site is important and what happened to Isabel. There is also a web site about this project and an article on the Talon children I can forward to you. Email me if you are interested.
