French DEVILLER in Nova Scotia, Canada

Here in Nova Scotia, Canada, we have many DEVILLER surnames which all descend from a francophone background. They have likely been here since the 1650's when many Acadian French people first settled in "Acadie" which was named Nova Scotia (New Scotland) by the English in 1621.

Is this DEVILLER spelling a variant of the DEVILLIER surname on this forum?
