In 1919 this Devol wrote to Mary Etta Devall Bassett in Tuscola IL. that sister Margret had died in Oakland Ca. and that her daughter Mary Hunnell (Hammell) was living in Parkersburg W.Va. and that out of a family of 12 only 4 were left.


This is a copy of the notes in Mary Etta's bible and she uses the form of Devall. Believe this note came from her uncle Garner H Devall/Devol.
