Hi everyone,
I am looking for information on Susannah Mortimer/Mortimore.
She was born February 21, 1762 in Bridford, Devonshire, England; her father was Edward Mortimer/Mortimore and her mother was registered as Betty. (The only relevent information I have found would suggest her mother was Elizabeth Hawkins).
Susannah was transported to Norfolk Island and later married Thomas O'Brien (a Marine on the First Fleet to Australia); they married on Norfolk Island, but later moved to Tasmania. They had 10 children.
If anyone has any more information pertaining to her, her parents, or other ancestors, I would be most grateful.
