Hi Tracey & Mike,

I'm looking for details of my ggg-g'father, Admiral Sir Richard DEVONSHIRE. I've found a possible spouse for Richard on the IGI on-line - Loveday WARREN. They had 3 children (also found on the IGI) - all 3 children containing WARREN as one of their middle Christian names.

Their first child was Jane Warren DEVONSHIRE bap. 1829 Kenwyn (born Truro ?), Cornwall. Jane married the Major, John Fincher TRIST in 1848.

Would you know of a connection ?

At the A2A web-site, I see both a Richard and John Ferris DEVONSHIRE listed together (with many more surnames I recognize), associated with felonies (where people have stolen materials from them).

I imagine they must be linked - but I don't know whether the Richard listed is MY Richard.

Thanks for any assistance.

Best wishes,
Robert J. Foote
