hi! my gggggrandfather was angus fraser from drummond plantation, easter boleskine, scotland and came to pictou nova scotia in 1802. I found an angus fraser who married janet dewar the daughter of alexander dewar from appin dow perthshire in 1797 around the time that angus would have been released from the strathspey fencibles whom he served with for six years. There has always been some doubt as to who his first wife was, as I don,t believe she survived the trip to nova scotia or died shortly after their arrival. angus had another marriage for about four years and then he married isabella mckay to whom he was married for 57 years, having 19 children. I believe that alexander,s wife may have been charlotte scott, but would appreciate any info. thanks, peg
