Have you any information about descendents? I am looking for the mother of Rebecca (Margaret) DANIEL, said to be the daughter of Maria-Knethta DEWASIN and Jonas DANIEL. She was born 1 Dec 1820, and Maria-Knethta died 3 days later.

They lived near Warrier Run Church in Northumberland Co, but family tradition says the Daniel family came from a place called Easton, near Philadelphia.

Do you know if your Samuel Dewees is of Dutch or of German heritage? We were told ours is German, because of the German -in ending of DEWES on Rebecca's taufschein. There, it is spelled DEWASIN.

thanks for any help you may be able to give,
