Searching for parents of Abram (aka Abraham) Dewees, b. 14 Mar 1805 in Pennsylvania, d. 23 Sep 1865 in Brook, Newton, Indiana. Married Hannah _____ bef. 1832 in PA. Children: George W, Jesse (my ggg grandfather), Sarah, Mary, Eliza, Hannah. Jesse's obit says he was b. 13 Nov 1833 in Montgomery County, PA, then moved wth his parents to Stark County, Ohio in 1840 and Newton County, Indiana in 1855.
