Hi again,
My email address is ldewesterbrown@juno.com and my snail mail is 2775 Lindbergh Dr, Indpls, IN 46227. I would love to be in contact with you regarding DeWester family lineage. However, I am currently not online so I have to go to the library in order to contact you through this genealogy forum. My great, great-grandfather was Jacob DeWester. He came from Germany about 1855 and married a girl named Martha Northam 12/25/1862 in Rush County, IN. They moved west from there. Their oldest child, Jacob H. DeWester was my great-grandfather. He had several children, one of which was my grandfather, Lloyd L. DeWester Sr. My father, Gerald DeWester is Lloyd's son. Lloyd Sr. grew up in the Benkelman, NE area and he settled with his family in the St Louis, MO area in Roxanna, IL. My father followed his older brother Lloyd Jr. to Indiana for his college education and eventually went onto medical school in the late 1950s/early 1960s. I am one of 5 children. I have 2 children, Brittany Kaitlynne Brown who just turned 9 and Grant DeWester Brown who is 4. I am having great fun finding other DeWesters. It seems as though once they got to America, many of them lost contact with each other over time. Probably due to no phones, cars, etc. Who were you grandfather's parents?
When did they come to the states? Where did they settle? Is your mother still living? What part of the country do you live in?

Well, I think I have bombarded you with enough info/questions for now. Please email me at you earliest convenience. I will share any info with you that I have.

Thanks -- Linda
