Looking for info re: Martin Dewey born late 1700's possibly in Rhode Island or Mass. Lived at Ellisburg, Jefferson County NY. He married Louisa Rose, widow of Hiram Rose,and then migrated to Western New York State (Niagara County) in 1833 or 1834. I don't know who his children were, or if he had children by Louisa. Louisa had at least one child by Hiram Rose--his name was Lorenzo Prentis Rose.
Any information about Martin and his family will be very appreciated.
