The Martin Dewey you refer to in Ellisburg was there with his family in 1920 and 1930. In the forties, he moved to Plattsburgh, NY and later settled in Maumee City, OH with his wife Rachel Lodema Simmons. (This part is verified in the Dewey genealogy books written by Louis Marinus Dewey). This Martin had a brother Stephen in Plattsburgh and I believe that my great grandfather was his son. I don't believe the Martin you refer to was the one in Ellisburg.
