I have many handwritten notes in my file from different people stating that a Cynthia Dewey was born 23 Jul 1799 (most likely in Champlain, NY) and later married to a Hosmer Corbin. However, I can't find anything that lists any documentation for this; it's as if everyone is copying someone else's note. The records for Champlain for those years do not exist. Does anyone have any proof for this lady's life, marriage, or death? Thank you in advance.
