Morgan-
My great grandmother was Carrie Wattles Knapp. Her father was Edwin Wattles and his father was Rev. Nathaniel Chandler Wattles. Elizabeth Wattles Dewey was the sister of Nathaniel Chandler Wattles so that would make her my great-great-great aunt. I would be very interested in seeing the picture you refer to. Does she have red hair? My great grandmother had beautiful red hair. Most Wattles are buried in Delaware County, New York State. My Mother was born there and often spoke of her Grandmother Carrie. We heard the stories of Elizabeth being the first white child born in Delaware County. Her father, Judge Sluman Wattles was quite well known. I have visited his grave site. My Mother was Agnes Knapp Anderson and was very proud of her ancestry. Please feel free to contact me.
