Sandi,

I have recently discovered that Robert Dewhurst (bn in Whalley in 1814/1813) owned Salford Bridge Mill in Clitheroe and brought Little Moor House in 1854, where he was resident at the time of the Cotton Operatives' Strike of 1878 and remained until 1885. I assume this was the year that the Dewhursts moved to Lytham. Have you found any connection to Salford Bridge Mill?

Reagards

Rhian
