Hi,

Not sure if we are a "match" but think we ought to compare notes. My gg grandfather, William James Dewhurst listed his brother Alfred as next of kin on his Metro Police Retirement records in London, 1853. He later went to the USA where my grandfather raised my father, who was born in 1920.
