The burials in our Carney Family Cemetery in Whites Creek, Davidson County, Tennessee are: John K. Dues - born: 16 January 1857 - died: 07 January 1886 and John Oliver, son of J.K. & Josie Dues - born: 09 June 1885 - died: 13 June 1885. I'm trying to learn if they are somehow related to my Carney family. Perhaps they were good friends or neighbors and maybe my Carney ancestors kindly provided a burial place for them. The name "Dues" on the tombstones may have been misspelled..and should have been "Dews". If anyone is related to this Dews/Dues family, I'll gladly provide further information regarding cemetery location.
