Phillis,
I am still trying to connect Richard Dews et Virginia arriving Va. 1686 Entry #9483564 with John 1746-1820 et Elizabeth.
I visited the Anglican Church in Dewsbury, England and took notes from the parish logs saying that Richard and Virginia left for the new country in 1686. There are also several Dews in the church cemetary. Have you any info that might help?
Thanks,
Charles Dews
