Hi Suzanne,

Thank you for responding to my email, I signed up so long ago I forgot my password etc, hopefully this will work.

Since I first posted this message I have heard from Ron Dews near Newcastle who was very helpful and John and Pat in Canberra, Pat's mother was Flo and dad was Fred Dews. They also sent me some photos and the family tree, so amazing to finally find out where the Dews side immigrated from. My mother Joan and dad Keith broke up when I was about 5 and he never kept in touch, my mum knew little of the family. I have met Lorna before but I only vaguely remember her. Ron or Pat did not know the whereabouts of my dad's sister so I must say it is great to hear from you.

That must mean we are cousins, how cool. I would love to hear more about your aunts, would love to meet you all one day but I don't want to be too pushy at this stage, I am just happy to be in touch. I mainly wanted to know of my family history as most of my life I have had no idea of my father's side, ie health concerns, also family history. I would like to follow up the Otoole side of the family but just happy to know about the Dews for now.

Any information you can give would be excellent, I live in Pennant Hills in Sydney, married to a Canadian Jim and have 3 boys, Sean 18, Blair 16 and Andrew 11, they keep me on my toes!! I am a travel agent in Artarmon, have been a TA for over 25 years now, still love it. Just returned from India, wow what an amazing country.

Anyway I won't ramble on but would love to hear from you again,

Esther Fraser
