I think we are getting close. My grandfather George Dews (who won the Military Medal in the First World War) was from Wheeler Street in Lozells Birmingham. There was a brother named William Henry. By chance I met a descendent of his also called William Henry who worked at a car dealership in Walsall and lived in Essington in South Staffordshire. My next move is to check the census and voters roll records.
It may take me a week or two as I am going on vacation on 4th July to Cyprus.
