Robert,
I hope I may have some information that is of use to you;

From my collection of Dewsnap data I have a reference from the Mormon records for Derbyshire of a Samuel Deusnap marrying a Hannah Hill on 24th November 1795 in Glosssop.

Their children were:
Moses               baptised 18th July 1796 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
William       baptised 19th April 1798
Samuel              baptised 2nd June 1800 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
James              baptised 11th April 1802 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
John              baptised 31st July 1804 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
Thomas       baptised 28th April 1807 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
Hannah       baptised 7th August1809 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
Martha              baptised 15th August 1811 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
Mary              baptised 28th February 1816
Betty              baptised 6th May 1818

I also have a record of a Samuel Duesnip marrying Mary Shepherd on 5th May 1830 also from the Mormon Derbyshire records.

Their children were:
James               baptised 14th November 1830
Samuel              baptised 2nd July 1832 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
Mary              baptised 16th April 1835 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop
John              baptised 9th April 1836 at St.Marys Independent Church, Glossop

This should fill some blanks and confirm your own information. If I find anything else I'll post a message.

Regards

Roger
