Hi Kelly,
with the information you have given, there is definitely a connection. It is actually my children who are connected to this branch of the tree and are descended through Harriet Livermore's daughter Winifred.

Winifred had a large number of children, the majority being to Archibald Christie. I don't believe Archibald was the father of her two oldest sons however, Cyril born 1918, died 1922 who was sent to live with Winifred's aunt, and Raymond (or George) born 1922. Raymond is my children's grandfather. It is unknown who Raymond lived with during his baby and young toddler years, but a cousin of the Kline family who eventually adopted him, recalls Raymond as just turning up as a toddler of about 2 or 3 years of age. The family was unaware of the adoption until about 2 or 3 years ago.

I was very interested in your comment regarding Elizabeth Dewsnap partnering with an aboriginal man and fathering William. We were aware of the aboriginal connection through this line of the family tree, and after eliminating all the other possibilities I had assumed that it was most likely that Thomas was not William's father, but had been unable to go beyond simply assuming.

So ... do you have any further information in relation to William's parentage? I was speaking to another of Winifred's grandchildren just last week and we were talking about this very relationship, so it's a real coincidence.

I do have more information about Elizabeth - she was born approximately 1797 and baptised 05/02/1797 at Cathedral St Peter, Sheffield Yorkshire. Her parents were William Dewsnap and Mary Bampton who were married 18/12/1781 at Sheffield Yorkshire.

Would love to hear more about where you fit into the tree and any further info you have on Elizabeth and William. If it's easier, my private email is

Regards, Megan
