Hello Nancy!

Thanks for responding. My best records indicate that Henry was born in 1818 and Francis (Frank) was born in 1830, both in Germany. They came to America around 1832 with their parents and family tradition has it they settled in Penn. first. They showed up in Akron, Summit Co., Ohio in about 1840-1843, and then on to Mich. in 1860. Henry lived until 1898 and died in Thomas Twp., Saginaw, MI and is buried at Owens Cemetery there. Francis (Frank) died in 1865 in St. Louis, Missouri, from diease while seving in the Union Army during the Civil War. I hope this helps one way or the other. There is no mention of Indiana in my research, however, it is assumed that other children were born between Henry and Frank, and where they and there parents are is quite a mystery. I've posted a family tree on the web, look for "The Ronald Dice Family of Saginaw Michigan".

Ron
