Hi All,

My gt gt grandfather was EDWARD DICKER, born 1833 in Swallowfield Berkshire, to Joseph Dicker and Charlotte Watkins.
Martin Baxter kindly gave me info that Joseph was a widower when he married Charlotte. Do not know who first wife was and if they had children also.

Any assistance on this Dicker family, including Edward's siblings, Caroline, Maria m. Daniel Beedle or Beedel, David, George, Harriet,Elizabeth or Eliza.
Also with JOseph's parents, via Martin Baxter, we think they were Edward and Elizabeth Adams. m. in Pamber Hampshire just before Joseph was born in Oct 1791.
I live in Australia, so any local knowledge of Berkshire and surrounds is most appreciated.
I also found Dicker's farm and Dicker's copse online. can anyone give info on that. One source online says the farm is named after its only tenant ... in the 1600s or 1700s
Thanks again Jacquie from Melb. Australia
